We decided to pack a tiny camera and some water and head out to Old Man's Caves on Easter weekend. I had never been there before and loved the trails, waterfalls and streams. We had a fun day, and although my knees would disagree, I can't wait to go exploring there again!
I was amazed at how this tree was growing right on top of this rock; and despite it's difficult choice of location it was standing strong and thriving. It was a reminder to me that depite my transplant to a new state, I can and will thrive and grow here in beautiful Ohio. Ahh, what the forest can teach you!!
Ok, if you ever see me looking to the sky with this look, you will know that my handsome husband, Randy, has just said something crazy or silly or wild.........He will say almost anything to get a rise out of me, and I think he lives to make me laugh. Thank you Randy for being my silly, crazy, hiking companion. I am blessed.

ReplyDeleteHey Siddu,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment....this is just the lowly 50mm 1.8 on our rebel...we didn't want to take our pro camera's or lenses on our long hike due to the fact that they are heavy!
