A sun drenched porch in the early morning is a perfect place to be!

Who knew that these little pink clusters on our verbena bushes would be better than any bath and body works air freshener!!

A small part of the garden that Randy graciously built for me last fall. He had to haul in 6 truckloads of good soil and he was a real trooper as we dug out the sod to make way for new residents!!

I love beautiful things........taking gorgeous photos is something that gets me so excited. Maybe it is that same something inside of me that loves magnificent gardens......that something inside of me that actually gets excited when all the trees are laden with puffs of white and pink flowers in spring. When the verbenas down the side of our house were in bloom, I was gathering up bouquets to hand off to whoever would enjoy their delicious scent. And when my tulips stood in a choir of upward praise to the blue sky, I too was singing on the inside!! So, while our new japanese maple is showing off it's crimson glory and our new miss kim lilacs are putting on a show stopping display of mauve blooms and enveloping the front porch with delightful perfume, I am thrilled with the sights and sounds of spring. Spring is such a renewal. Even though everything seemed dead, it is alive and beautiful again. Reminds me of second chances. It also reminds me of God's grace, and how He can make the coldest heart warm again. So as I enjoy a few quiet moments basking in the warm sun kissing our front porch, a song of thankfulness and joy flood my soul. I love beautiful things, and they are everywhere I look. I hope you are dancing on the inside like me as you go about your day surrounded by awesome beauty and grand design!!
