The Moments Forever: Columbus Engagement Session

From kindergarten to 8^th grade, they went to the same school in Wilton, Iowa. They both spent time at her cousin’s home, but she would always keep her distance from him because she thought he was "GROSS". By 8^th grade, they were science partners. Her feelings about him were changing but she didn’t know what to do about her crush on him, so she was “mean” to him and he was equally “mean” back. Then, he moved to Ohio for his freshman year of high school and they moved on with life, careers and other relationships. Years flew by. Then one night, two years ago, it happened. Both alone, at 1 am, in a room that was likely dimly lit by the computer screen……..they reconnected……….on FACEBOOK! After this great reconnect, they had a long distance romance for a year until Heidi moved to New Albany to join David. On Dec 29^th, they took a trip back to Iowa. They went to a sumptuous restaurant with loved ones and opened gifts there. The last gift was unmarked, and when Heidi opened it there were photos of the two of them as kids and a note from David…….and when she looked up he was there in front of all their family ready to give her a stunning ring and his heart. During our engagement shoot at a local park and Easton Town Center, it was obvious how smitten David is and I laughed as he said to Heidi "Girl, you make me look GOOD!"..........Yes, David......she is pretty hot stuff! Now they are planning a destination wedding next June at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. I am sure it will be gorgeous!
