Randy and I had both always thought that getting married on a beach was the coolest. So, in less than 3 months, we planned a tropical wedding. We had hoped that Maurice Henri could fly to Barbados with us to document our day, and he wanted to....but he had a gallery opening on the same day as our nuptuals. So we went with the resort photographer, and despite the fact that her flash was not firing when it should have....we were happy with the images. We were so excited to finally be Mr. and Mrs. that no last minute problems would fizz us. Randy stayed up until 5 am the night before writing out his wedding vows......and pulled out a long page when it came time to exchange them!! He even promised to give me a back rub every night!! Who does that!! Ricky married us, and his words were awesome. The champagne was good, and the wedding cake was delish!! The videographer did manage to get a few onlooking sunbathers wearing speedos in the movie, but now when we see it, we just laugh! Our meal was outside beside the waves crashing in, on a torch lit patio. And our first dance on that patio was to Keith Urban's song: Making Memories of Us. Our honeymoon was blissful, and I hope we can go back to Barbados again and relive the magic!! God has blessed me abundantly. His grace and mercy are new every morning!!!
