Thanksgiving Weekend & Perfect moments.....

I don't have a camera in hand to capture my feelings tonight......and who would want to see my sweetie crashed on the couch anyway???  But tonight I am drenched in thankfulness.....our house is very warm and cosy and we have been snuggled up on the couch after a crazy shopping day full of line ups and great deals and all the laughter and silliness that exudes out of us when we hit the stores together.  He teases me about the way I say things and the way I walk, and whatever else he can think to get a rise out of me......and I react and he laughs in great delight and then I am laughing too.  And then he tells me that he honestly doesn't like the way I say "pasta"...no really, that one needs to change.  And my lower lip gets fat, and he smiles and takes me to Tim's drivethru for mac and cheese and says it's his new favorite fast food.   And I think of how wonderful the small things in life are.....a warm home, hot "pasta", a comfy sofa to curl up on, and the sound of the one you love breathing while he sleeps.   And I feel like I am living in perfect moments.......sweet and peaceful,  and covered in the blessing of a husband who is sooo kind and giving.  He works hard and never complains, and he always finds a way to make me smile even when I don't think I am good enough, or when I feel like defeat is at my door.  I am touched by Goodness and deeply thankful for perfect moments.
