I met the Garlands on a boating trip on the Saint John River . The trip was all about families getting together on the water for a good time. And the Garland family knows how to do that. Whether it is on the water, or at the hockey rink......this tribe knows how to keep it together and have a lot of fun in the process. After this shoot, Mrs. G was leaving on a flight to Texas for a 5 week course for work and she told me afterwards that during that flight and during her duration away, these photos were her constant companion as she looked at them again and again. She told me that I would never know how much these pictures meant to her........and I am sure that there was extra meaning as they were weeks away from taking their daughter to university for her freshman year. Thanks guys for all the fun, and thanks for the fried clams too!!
